Ideally located in the Tygerberg area of Cape Town, Reddam House Durbanville acquired Chesterhouse School in 2016. Inspired immediately started the building of the College on a magnificent piece of land next door; the Clara Anna Fontein lifestyle estate, which now houses the College.
The decision to restructure Chesterhouse School as a Reddam House was based on the desire to create the most outstanding educational institution in Cape Town.
Reddam House Durbanville caters for children from 1 year old to Grade 12. The school comprises two campuses, the old Chesterhouse campus that houses the Early Learning School (ELS) as well as the Junior and Senior Preparatory School, and the spectacular new Clara Anna Fontein campus, housing the College campus for students from Grade 8 – 12.
The Reddam House teaching philosophy is applied to amplify the students’ educational experience. Students can expect outstanding teaching staff; new timetables to further support academic achievement, an enhanced curriculum as well as more focused training and deeper learning.
For the past 20 years, Reddam House has offered students an enriching environment in which they can transition from their early teenage years into young adulthood. The premises of Reddam House are situated in the beautiful suburb of Durbanville and guarantee a safe learning environment. Students are inspired to embrace their individuality, excel in their performance and reach their full potential.
We are proud of the well-rounded young adults that we send into tertiary fields. Our students are given thorough direction for decision-making, problem solving and are encouraged to hold their own on the world stage.
