Ideally located in the Tygerberg area of Cape Town, Reddam House Durbanville acquired Chesterhouse School in 2016. Inspired immediately started the building of the College on a magnificent piece of land next door; the Clara Anna Fontein lifestyle estate, which now houses the College.
The decision to restructure Chesterhouse School as a Reddam House was based on the desire to create the most outstanding educational institution in Cape Town.
Reddam House Durbanville caters for children from 1 year old to Grade 12. The school comprises two campuses, the old Chesterhouse campus that houses the Early Learning School (ELS) as well as the Junior and Senior Preparatory School, and the spectacular new Clara Anna Fontein campus, housing the College campus for students from Grade 8 – 12.
The Reddam House teaching philosophy is applied to amplify the students’ educational experience. Students can expect outstanding teaching staff; new timetables to further support academic achievement, an enhanced curriculum as well as more focused training and deeper learning.
True excellence in education lies in striking a balance between creating a firm foundation for the future, by offering the best tuition and a broad bouquet of diverse opportunities, while simultaneously providing a launch pad to life: nurturing young intellects; challenging, channelling and focusing our students’ energy; and in the process, widening global horizons.
We wish only the very best for our students, working tirelessly to motivate them to maximise their innate potential.
Warmest welcome to the Reddam House family.
